Skerper v2.4 · Lightroom Classic plugin

Lightroom, in the loop.

Skerper is the two-way bridge between your Skerp galleries and your Lightroom catalog. Client picks land on pick flags, color labels, keywords, or stars — your way — and your replies flow back without leaving the Library.

Included on Standard, Pro, and Studio plans.

Nine capabilities, one plugin.

Built on the Lightroom Classic SDK. Ships with every paid Skerp plan.

Publish Service

Your Lightroom publish collection is the gallery. Drag photos in, hit Publish, and Skerp receives them with filenames, captions, and keywords intact. Remove a photo and it leaves the gallery.

Smart Collections

Three auto-filtered collections per published gallery — Approved, Rejected, Unreviewed. Fed by the sync engine, kept up to date automatically.

Sync Now

Explicit, deliberate sync. One click pulls every client decision — approvals, rejections, ratings — and writes them into Lightroom. A pre-sync dialog summarises exactly what will change.

Configurable mapping

Map approved to a pick flag, a color label, a keyword, a native star rating — or any combination. Per-photographer defaults, per-gallery overrides. Your catalog conventions, not ours.

Manage galleries from Lightroom

Create, rename, and delete galleries without leaving the app. The publish dialog is the workflow.

Direct-to-R2 uploads

The plugin PUTs bytes straight to Cloudflare R2 using short-lived presigned URLs. Zero server bandwidth consumed; uploads move at network speed.

Resume on disconnect

Reconnect mid-publish and the plugin asks the server which filenames already landed, then skips them. Flaky hotel wifi is no longer a cancellation.

Bidirectional comments

Client comments appear in Lightroom's Comments panel. Your replies from Lightroom flow back to the gallery. The conversation stays in one place.

One-click browser authorize

Click "Authorize in Browser" in the Skerper welcome dialog. A Skerp tab opens, your browser hands the API token back to Lightroom automatically, and the plugin is connected. No copy-paste.

Your catalog, your conventions.

Every client decision can map to any combination of Lightroom fields. Set a global default in Skerp's Skerper settings, then override per gallery when a project needs something different.

Conflicts are explicit. The plugin's pre-sync dialog summarises every change ("will set 42 to picked, clear 8 picks, apply red label to 3") before writing anything to your catalog.

Three minutes, three steps.

No API key copy-paste. The plugin picks the token up from the browser flow automatically.
